Virtual Book Talk + Making Workshop

The Collectively Envisioning Black Girl Futures working group is ecstatic to kick off our 2023 - 2024 programming with a virtual book talk + making workshop with scholar, curator, and artist, dr. reelaviolette botts-ward! On Monday, October 16 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM PST/ 4:00PM - 6:00PM CST/ 5:00PM - 7:00PM EST, dr. botts-ward will lead a virtual guided book talk and making workshop on Black girlhood, memory, and futures in alignment with her book, mourning my inner[blackgirl]child. You're not expected to read the book beforehand. At the conclusion of the event, we will send complimentary copies of the book to 20 registered attendees.
