About This Event

A seminar-style meeting spurred by an initial reflection by Italian political thinker, journalist, and essayst Maria Luisa Boccia on the topic of "Thinking of War, Fighting for Peace." Boccia's considerations will be followed by remarks by Elvira Roncalli (Carroll College) and Barbara Muraca (University of Oregon) to facilitate the beginning of the general conversation among participants. The seminar is part of a series of gatherings under the title "Lessons for the Contemporary World."
