Armen Davoudian, a Colgate University O'Connor Writing Fellow, andJessica Cuello , read from their poetry at Hamilton College as part of the CNY Humanities Corridor Small Press Reading Series. A letterpress workshop takes place earlier in the afternoon on Hamilton College's campus.
Jessica Cuello’s manuscript, Liar, was selected by Dorianne Laux for the 2020 Barrow Street Book Prize. She is also the author of Pricking (Tiger Bark Press 2016), winner of the 2017 CNY Book Award, and Hunt (The Word Works 2017), winner of the 2016 Washington Prize. Jessica teaches French in Central NY and is a poetry editor for Tahoma Literary Review.
Armen Davoudian’s poems and translations from Persian appear in Poetry magazine, the Hopkins Review, the Yale Review, and elsewhere. His chapbook, Swan Song, won the 2020 Frost Place Competition. Armen is the 2022-23 Olive B. O'Connor Creative Writing Fellow at Colgate University.
