Paula Findlen has pre-circulated two papers, "Anatomy of a Lesbian: Medicine, Pornography and Culture in Eighteenth-Century Italy" and "Giovanni's Story: Sex, Passion, and Identity in Early Modern Italy" to facilitate a conversation about future research directions based on these essays. The workshop is intended to be a free-flowing research discussion.
