Languages on the Margins: Poetry in Quechua and Bable
About This Event
Poets Odi Gonzales and Berta Piñán will read their poetry in Quechua and Bable (Asturiano), respectively, and will discuss the literary possibilities of writing in a marginalized language. They will follow up this activity with a conversation regarding their own relationship to both dominant and marginalized languages, which aims at drawing possible parallels between Quechua and Bable.
