Governing the Unforeseeable: Public Lectures in AI and Human Values

About This Event

Governing the Unforeseeable

An interdisciplinary lecture on AI governance: how to deal with the fact that we often do not know what or why an AI will do. David Danks will present two different efforts to develop appropriate governance mechanisms for AI systems. The goal of these (and other) efforts is to enable better governance of AI systems despite persistent limits on our knowledge.
