The spring meeting will open with an hour long talk and Q&A session with special guest, Greg De Cuir, Jr. on the state of the field and his own path to experimental media scholarship and curation. Following the talk, members will share announcements and have an informal planning session.

Greg De Cuir, e co-founder and artistic director of Kinopravda Institute in Belgrade. Independent film programmer and curator. He has organized programs at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), National Gallery of Art (Washington, D.C.), Anthology Film Archives (New York), Locarno Film Festival, and Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, among others. De Cuir is currently editing the first translation of Vlalda Petric's Constructivism in Film: The Man with the Movie Camera). In 2019 de Cuir organized 21st-Century Zilnik, the first retrospective of Zelimir Zilnik in the UK, presented in London at Close-Up Film Centre, Goldsmiths University of London, LUX and Birkbeck University of London.
