Every Summer Needs a Plan: NCFDD Workshop
About This Event
Jumpstart your summer writing projects and stop feeling overwhelmed with this NCFDD workshop led by Dr. Anthony Ocampo (California State Polytechnic University-Pomona).
- Want to learn how to recalibrate your expectations, and think differently about productivity, for a generative and balanced summer?
- Are you interested in tips for “reverse engineering” different projects and mapping out the steps for completion?
- Could you benefit from some empathy, ideas, and shared accountability with others facing similar struggles?
If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, you’re not alone! In this hands-on workshop designed for scholars in the humanities and humanistic social sciences, you will learn how to identify your personal and professional goals for the summer, create a strategic plan to accomplish them, and identify the types of community, support, and accountability you need to achieve a productive and balanced summer.
- Handouts will be shared in advance for those who register early.
- CART captioning will be provided.
- For other accommodation requests, please contact the Corridor via email (cnyhumanities@syr.edu) by May 13, 2024.
