Doing Shakespeare: Much Ado About Nothing, a "Staged" Reading
About This Event
This semester’s ENG 411 Doing Shakespeare class ensemble has produced a “staged” reading of Much Ado About Nothing that will be performed for one night only, Monday May 5 at 7pm at the Community Folk Arts Center. The students have worked extremely hard to execute a shared vision that amplifies the play’s themes of manipulated (or “fashioned”) impression through a staged reading that exposes the darker edges that season the comedy’s tenderer delights. Tickets are free by reservation; use the QR code in the event poster or the RSVP link. Space is limited for this single performance, so be thoughtful about the number of tickets you're requesting.
