Critical Korean Studies Exploratory Meeting
About This Event
As a new Working Group, the purpose of the exploratory meeting is to create an interdisciplinary community of scholars who work on critical Korean studies and Korean diaspora studies and to set an agenda for the upcoming meetings. There are two immediate goals: To become aware of the scholars who are working in critical Korean and Korean diaspora studies and to decide on a shared book for the Spring 2025 Reading Group (Event #2). A medium-range goal will be to establish an agenda for the following year(s) to collaboratively establish a direction for the Working Group, and a long-range goal will be to create a vibrant intellectual hub of critical Korean studies.
