Collections Professionals Roundtable on Research Design
About This Event
This working group aims to analyze what metrics we use to calculate the financial impacts that the accession, maintenance, storage, documentation, digitization, and preservation of museum collections have on our institutions and our communities in the very long term. With support from the CNY Humanities Corridor, we host a workshop at Syracuse University’s Cantor Warehouse in Downtown Syracuse with collection colleagues from around the region to brainstorm, evaluate, and inform what facets of collections care will/should be outlined in this study, and, what possible outcomes of this project might inform.
