About This Event

Following his guest lecture "Public Music Theory and Exploration of Digital Resources on March 16," Mark Gotham (Durham University) will lead a discussion with the audience, inviting feedback and questions about the database and best ways to use it as a resource for research and teaching. This will take the place of our usual "Analysis-a-Thon" event: where we usually work together to encode analyses in real-time, we are taking a step back this year to discuss the user experience, what works and what doesn't, and how the database might be organized moving forward so that the interface is even more user-friendly for music instructors.
