About This Event

A Time to Mend is a full-day event led by multidisciplinary artist, Mike Durkin, who presents The Mending Project, his community-based mending project that combines physical mending and quilt making to facilitate storytelling, communal understanding, and creative partnership. Mike would lead a "mending session" for attendees. This session emphasizes physical mending, shared narratives, and appreciation for sustainability. After a lunch break, the afternoon session includes a restorative session, by Deb Corea followed by an movement session that focusing on elements of non-verbal storytelling, improvisation, and/or authentic movement.
