About This Event

An all-day workshop by Dr. Thomas Talawa Presto, focusing on his insights into improvisation as informed by his investigation of Gestorhythmitization and the Ewe embodied somatic practice known as Seselelame.

  • 10-10:15am - Greeting/ Introductions
  • 10:20-11:40am - Dr. Presto presentation on Gestorhythmitization
  • 12-12:50pm - Lunch and group discussion with Dr. Presto
  • 1-2:50pm - Warm-up/ and Improvisational movement session - Dr. Presto
  • 3-3:30pm - Group Reflection with Dr. Presto
